@GalaticTG Also true, but the losses from power lines is pretty small, power loss is equal to resistance x current and they run at very high voltages so the amperage is comparatively small. Anyway in response to the video, installing such a system would hurt your fuel economy. Even at 500W that was producing stuff all and would have been a significant load on the engine. It is possible that it would help the car run more efficiently, and offset the load that way, but I doubt it.

I'm not saying this won't reduce greenhouses gasses but it will only work in areas that have solar power, wind turbines, or hydroelectric dams. You are right on one point. You know it takes more power to produce HHO then you get from HHO, That's just the laws of physics. Thus if your town or city uses fossil fuels to produce it's electricity. The amount of fossil fuels you consume producing the HHO will be greater then the amount of fossil fuels your car would consume. @auroraron The life of the engine could be vastly extended by not starting from cold & going straight up to full power revs. Although I understand that is the tough life of a generator engine. They reckon 90% of the wear in any engine occurs in the first 5 minutes after a cold start, as the components work their way up to working temperature tolerances. Is this a Hyundai 10 hp diesel?

Black smoke is from unburned fuel. The engine under full load does not bog down and runs normally never leaving any unburned fuel. There is also a catalytic converter that helps reduce emission. I think your experiences are with other brands. We have the coolest running and the highest quality we can manufacture. We now have CSA approval also and that is something no other manufacture has been able to do.

I was shown this trick a few years back, by Reece Kelso. Kelso was the "VW" man around the Gaston County NC area in the 70's. Kelso is gone but the memory is still strong. Here is my go at it ENJOY.

To see this consider what happens if you allow two magnets to come together once you have made them. They will do some work as they pull together. You get to do this exactly once.

The simplest method is to heat the metal well above the curie point apply a very strong field and allow it to cool in that field. Once a magnet is made, it very slowly loses strength. The only energy you can get back is a fairly trivial amount from the field making magnets at best a very inefficient way to store energy.

@Ravalat The "magnetic spinner" thing is not even a good magic act. The bottom of the thing is always ball shaped. The spinner leans over slightly so that the point of contact is not the center of the spinner. The magnet is then used to force the thing to move over the surface. The off center point of contact provides the torque to spin it up. The energy comes from the motion of the hand holding the magnet that makes it move.

It might be helpful if somebody explained how these "permanent" magnets are made. Isn't there an energy input required to magnetize the metal? Don't they slowly de-magnetize over time? On a different note, even if we had a true perpetual motion machine (100% efficiency, no friction), as soon as you introduce a "load" (to convert motion to electricity) then the motion is slowed until it's zero.

Good question. Because this engine operates on low steam pressure, it is possible to operate it in your home. Anything over 200 psi is required by law to have a 24 hour attendant. A steam turbine will not operate at these low pressures. Because my engine can be run on solar as well as any cheap or free fuel, it matters little about the volume of steam. BTW, turbines blow blades frequently and they are very expensive to build and repair. That is why small turbines are not available.

The voltage is being measured incorrectly here! When using a multimeter, voltage must be measured in parallel and not in series like it shows here. To measure voltage correctly, place a resistor where the multimeter is in the video and measure the voltage from both sides of the resistor (ie in parallel with the resistor). each set of 2 coils are connected in series to make 3 phases. On this generator I have connected the generator in star which gives more voltage and less current. I could have connected it a number of ways. There are 8 magnets which create 4 pairs of poles. This makes a 4 pole feild. I used a plan found on the internet and therefore never bothered figuring out the timing of the magnets related to the coils. (Actually there are 16 magnets total because there is na identical rotor feild either side

The disadvantage to an alternator is the efficiency. You must provide power to the field to create an electromagnet as oposed to the PMG which uses permanent magnets. I don't know what minimum speed an alternator needs to run at, but if you have to gear up you will also loose some efficiency. Other people have done it so I'm sure it will work

One of my generators running. PepBoys 1200w Peak (850w rated). It's quiet compared to other larger units and actually has a good sized muffler. I wouldn't run it overnight in a city neighborhood but, it's quiet enough for day use. It's has a two stroke 2hp gasoline engine that requires a 50:1 oil premix. And, it's quite small. Compare it to the shop lamp in the video for size.

The short answer is, yes! It's featured in BOLD print in all generator manuals. The long answer is that I've never seen anyone do it with the portable ones. Even though you should! It just makes sense and is MUCH safer. But with all the plastic appliances these days I can honestly say that I've never heard of anyone being electrocuted by an ungrounded generator. (That doesn't mean that it's never happened, though!)

Do youself a favor I have the same one, for all the people saying it takes 20 pulls to start, I hd the same issue, for one it needs a primer bulb, so you can get an in line primer bulb and instal it on the fuel line right below the fuel cutoff switch, then also you can install a real air filter, the oem one is not real great and it gets clogged and doesnt allow air in to let fuel pass, and with any 2-stroke the first time of the season always needs a little starter fluid, but all in all good one

mine has been running a window unit air conditioner for approx 3 tanks= 12 hours with no problems i WILL buy 5 more of these just to have around................do yourself a favor and get one or 2 . i am an old school type person who loves things that are tough............ p.s mix your gas with extra oil (keeps it safer and cooler)!!!! Well, this is a bit of a hard question to answer. But I'll try. This little guy can produce 1000 watts. So anything less than, or equal to, that should work. I've powered small toaster ovens, small window air conditioners, fans, shop lights, etc... Even a hair 1875 watt hair dryer! But!!!! Put the hair dryer on full and it will pop the circuit breaker right away. I had to run it on low or medium setting. One last note, in case you appliances don't show watts, this is about 8 amps.
