@seashoresighter Select the area that you want to crop to (roughly), then press alt, then press i, then press p. It's a nice smooth motion if you do it both hands (alt with left thumb, i and p with right index and ring finger), so that's how I can do it quickly. With 'm' (selection mode) and the arrows (move current selection one pixel up/left/down/right), or with the shift pressed it goes 10 pixels up/left/down/right, you can move your selection around real easy and close up onto the edges.

I don't believe so. He played guitar with Vic Chestnut and may have recorded with him too but I'm not aware of any stuff he did on his own. Yes. I miss his work too. To spend twenty years listening to him (rites, happy go licky, one last wish, fugazi) then for it all to stop really is a comedown.

Guy is living in D.C. I believe he toured a bit with vic chestnut in the past couple of years and has been doing some producing. Ian definitely got a little grumpier in the later years but I think that might have been due to the size of the shows and the fact he had to stop every ten seconds to tell people to stop punching each other.

Because they change their settings or slam the volume and create feedback at the end of a song. You can feedback a bass and it sounds really cool under two guitars also feedbacking. A lot of their songs have different bass sounds. Im sure he tweaks the controls, its not like hes gonna buy some 3k amp with multiple channels.

he stands there so he has eye contact with brendan, fugazi don't use set lists so they take cues from each other to start songs, extend parts and the like. the bass and drums are the back bone of any band. he most likely wants to be able to see changes in brendans playing. i don't think he is worried about not being up front to get "love".
